- Core Requirements for Installation Location:
- Flat Site: The ground slope should be ≤ 0.5%, measured with a level to avoid uneven stress on the weighbridge body leading to accuracy drift; if the slope of the overseas site exceeds the standard, the ground should be leveled in advance to comply with local construction standards.
- Good Drainage: Stay away from low-lying areas, and a blind drainage ditch (30cm wide and 50cm deep) should be set under the foundation to prevent rainwater from soaking the sensors; the Weight Worth team will design the foundation pit plan according to the climate of the overseas site (such as strengthening drainage in rainy areas).
- Sufficient Space: 5-8m of approach ramp space (approach ramp slope 1:10) should be reserved at both ends of the weighbridge body, and the width should be more than 1m wider than the weighbridge body to facilitate vehicles to enter and exit the weighbridge; if the space of the overseas site is limited, narrow-body weighbridges or inclined approach ramps can be customized to ensure adaptability.
- Environmental Adaptation: Stay away from high-voltage lines (distance ≥ 10m) and high-magnetic field equipment to avoid signal interference; stay away from corrosive gas and dust environments. If it is a chemical scenario, explosion-proof weighbridges (complying with ATEX and IECEx certifications) should be selected to adapt to the safety standards of the chemical industry.
- Common Misunderstandings in Site Selection:
- Proximity to Buildings: It is easy to cause difficulty in vehicle turning, and it is recommended to keep a distance of ≥ 3m from buildings; some overseas regions have strict requirements on building spacing, which should be confirmed in advance in accordance with local regulations.
- Soft Ground: Uncompacted land is prone to settlement, and hardening treatment (paving 10cm thick gravel + 20cm thick concrete) should be done first; for soft overseas sites (such as sandy land and swampy areas), the foundation should be strengthened to ensure the long-term stability of the weighbridge.
