The working principle of truck scale is based on the principle of strain gauge measurement. When a truck stops on the scale, gravity will cause the scale to transfer gravity to the weighing sensor. The elastic body on the sensor will deform, causing the strain gauge bridge attached to the elastic body to lose balance, thereby outputting an electrical signal proportional to the weight value. These electrical signals are amplified by a linear amplifier and then converted into digital signals through an A/D converter. Finally, the microprocessor (CPU) in the instrument processes the weight signal and directly displays the weight data.

The truck scale is mainly composed of the following parts: load carrier, weighing display instrument, weighing sensor, connector, limit device and junction box. In addition, external devices such as printers, large-screen display instruments, computers and weighing management software can be selected according to needs. After configuring the printer, the weighing data can be printed and recorded; after configuring the computer and weighing management software, the measurement data can be input into the computer management system for comprehensive management.

When using a truck scale, you need to pay attention to the following points: First, the truck scale must be inspected and qualified by the local statutory metrology inspection agency before it can be used; second, before use, you should check whether the scale body is flexible and whether the performance of each supporting component is good; finally, be careful not to overload during use and keep the scale platform clean.
