The steel cylinder scale is an industrial weighing equipment specially designed for cylindrical steel cylinders and gas storage tanks. It is suitable for the metering of various gas cylinders such as liquid chlorine, liquid ammonia, carbon dioxide, propane and medical oxygen.
Adopting an integrated frame structure and high-precision weighing sensor system, the equipment is tailored for harsh industrial environments with outstanding weighing accuracy, structural stability and operational safety. It accurately completes cylinder filling measurement, inventory checking, residual gas detection and over-limit alarm.
Widely applied in chemical, gas, medical, food, sewage treatment and laboratory industries, it serves as core weighing equipment for the production, transportation and management of bottled gas.
Core Structural Design
2.1 Sturdy and Pressure-resistant Scale Body
The whole machine adopts a thickened profile welded frame with two optional materials: carbon steel with plastic spraying and 304 stainless steel. The carbon steel version undergoes sandblasting and anti-corrosion painting for wear resistance, scratch resistance and oxidation resistance.
The stainless steel version adopts polished wire drawing technology, featuring waterproof and anti-corrosion performance for humid and corrosive working conditions. The double-layer platform and three-beam structure provide stronger anti-eccentric load and anti-torsion capacity than traditional double-beam structures, ensuring uniform pressure distribution, no deformation under long-term heavy load and no measurement error drift.
2.2 Humanized Cylinder Bearing Mechanism
The scale platform is equipped with a V-shaped adaptive bracket to fix cylinders of different diameters and prevent tipping and slipping. It adopts high-strength nylon pulley brackets and composite spring buffer devices to reduce impact force during cylinder placement, protecting sensors and the scale body.
The rotatable cylinder design facilitates pipeline connection and reduces manual operation difficulty. Some models are equipped with a leakage collection tray to contain leaked liquid and avoid corrosion to equipment and ground for easier maintenance.
2.3 Protected Sensor Layout
High-precision shear beam load cells are embedded between the upper and lower scale platforms to avoid direct erosion from liquid, dust and corrosive gas. With sealed packaging, the sensor features strong overload resistance, anti-interference and anti-vibration performance, ensuring stable weighing data in complex industrial environments.
